As we begin thoughtfully re-opening our theatre, the health and well-being of our guests, employees and customers is a top priority. You will notice significantly enhanced cleanliness, sanitizing and safety measures at every step of your movie-going experience. Here is an outline of the many ways we are protecting your safety at Metro Movies 12:

OUR NEW SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Guests and Employees will be expected to wear masks. Non-compliant guests will be asked to leave.

PROFESSIONALLY SANITIZED: Our nightly professional cleaning will be enhanced with additional sanitizing measures.  Also, frequent touchpoints will be cleaned and sanitized by a dedicated staff member throughout the day.

AMPLE SUPPLY of HAND SANITIZER & SEAT WIPES: Metro Movies 12 is proactively placing hand sanitizers outside the box office, the concession stand and other high contact areas. Seat wipe dispensers have also been added inside each auditorium.

MANDATORY PERSONAL PROTECTIVE WEAR: All employees are provided with and are required to wear facial masks and gloves during their shifts.

EMPLOYEE WELLNESS CHECK-INS:   Metro Movies 12 employees will be asked about their wellness and complete a temperature check, prior to each shift.

ASSIGNING A “CHIEF CLEAN & SAFETY MONITOR”: Metro Movies will have a Chief Clean & Safety Monitor on duty during all operating hours to ensure the highest standards of safety, physical distancing, cleanliness and sanitizing.

REDUCED AUDITORIUM CAPACITIES: For the time being, overall auditorium capacities are being reduced for your safety and to maintain compliance with all local and state guidelines. When you purchase movie tickets at Metro Movies 12, we now ask that you leave at least 2 seats on either side of your party. In addition, we are staggering showtimes to allow more time to exit and prevent overcrowding in our restrooms, halls and lobbies. 

CONTACTLESS TICKETING: We encourage you to purchase tickets online to minimize contact during your in-theatre experience. If you prefer to purchase tickets in the theatre, please consider using a contactless-enabled credit card.

CASH ACCEPTED: Cash and Debit Cards will be accepted at Metro Movies 12.  

GIFT CARDS ACCEPTED: Metro Movies 12 Gift Cards will still be available for purchase and redemption.

ASKING GUESTS FOR COOPERATION & PATIENCE: As we navigate this new normal, Metro Movies 12 is taking every precaution to ensure your safety – and we are asking our guests to do the same. Please help us with the following: Dispose of all trash, seat wipes and other items in proper bins upon leaving the auditorium, which helps limit indirect contact, and also gives our employees time for enhanced sanitizing. Please practice physical distancing of at least 6 feet from fellow guests and employees in all areas of the theatre – including entrances, lobbies, concession areas, restrooms, hallways, lounge areas and auditoriums. Social distancing markers have been placed on floors throughout the theatre as a reminder.

USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE WEAR: Wearing a mask is especially important in all common areas of the theatre, such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms and concession stands. No one will be permitted inside Metro Movies 12 without a face mask. Strongly recommended to keep your mask on in your seats. Anyone not wearing a mask in common areas will be asked to leave.

PLEXIGLASS SCREENS ADDED: In areas of the theatre where proper physical distancing between employees and guests isn’t otherwise possible, such as concession stand registers, plexiglass barrier screens will be used for added safety.

SEALED FOR YOUR PROTECTION: Self-serve condiments have been replaced with individually sealed packets or containers, which are available upon request from our cashiers. This includes ketchup, mustard and relish. In addition, only individually wrapped straws and plastic cutlery are being used in our theatres.

POPCORN & DRINK FREE REFILLS SUSPENDED: For your safety, popcorn and drink refills will not be offered at this time.  

RESTROOM RULES & BEST PRACTICES: Limited restroom capacity will apply.
